Abstract

  • Sepsis is defined as life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection.(1) Morbidity and mortality from sepsis are estimated to affect millions of people annually and it is a significant global public health concern.(1,2) This article discuss treatments recommendations for patients with sepsis and septic shock including those with heart failure.
