Overview

  • Dr. Christopher Sugalski joined the Ochsner Clinic in 2019. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Sugalski came to New Orleans as an undergraduate student where he graduated cum laude from Tulane University. After graduating from medical school at Tulane, he became an active duty member of the United States Army for five years. He served as a Flight Surgeon for the 1st Infantry Division in Ft. Riley, KS, and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Dr. Sugalski returned to Ohio for orthopedic residency training at The Ohio State University, where he received the Outstanding Resident Teacher Award during his chief resident year. Following his residency, Dr. Sugalski completed additional training in orthopedic trauma at the University of Florida. He is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Orthopedic Trauma Association and the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons.
