Dr. Gary received her doctor of medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1974. She completed a general surgery residency at Alameda County General Hospital in Oakland, California. Dr. Gary is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Prior to coming to Ochsner, Dr. Gary held numerous leadership positions in emergency medicine and primary care facilities.
