Overview

  • I became a family physician because I love taking care of people through their different stages of life- from infancy to the golden years. I attended the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. I did my family medicine residency in New Jersey, following which I pursued training in HIV and Hepatitis C care in the Bronx, NY. In addition to being boarded in family medicine, I have attained specialist certification from the American Academy of HIV medicine.I believe that one of the best ways to optimize patient care is by engaging the patient in shared decision making. I strive to educate patients on their current health and what, if anything, they can do to improve their health. I believe that when patients are involved in the decision making they are more likely to make positive health decisions.
