Overview

  • Leise Knoepp, MD, MPH offers progressive and comprehensive medical, behavioral, and surgical treatment options for women with pelvic floor disorders. She believes that a patient should understand her condition and take an active part in the management decision process. Dr. Knoepp is experienced in a variety of traditional and minimally-invasive treatment options and will work with each patient to determine the best, individual plan of care. She is also dedicated to improving her field through teaching and continued research efforts. A native of Louisiana, Leise Knoepp, MD, MPH received her medical degree at Louisiana State Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. Prior to that, she completed her Masters of Public Health from Emory Rollins School of Public Health. As a resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Dr. Knoepp served as Chief Resident and was awarded for teaching fellow residents. She recently completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. During fellowship she received competitive national research grants and was honored as best fellow teacher by the residents. She is currently a member of the the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS).
