Overview

  • Dr. Marc Raj completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at Loyola University in New Orleans and received his medical degree from the NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge followed by a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Raj completed his fellowship at the Bodor Clinic Regenerative Spine and Sports Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography. Dr. Raj joins Ochsner after working in private practice. He has a special clinical interest in using cutting edge minimally invasive treatment modalities to improve function in the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal, neck, and back pain. He has an interest in orthobiologics, and he strongly believes in the body's natural ability to heal itself. Dr. Raj grew up in Slidell. He enjoys spending time with his wife, newborn daughter, and puppy. He is an avid lifelong Saints and Tigers fan. He is looking forward to sharing his love of LSU and the Saints with his daughter.
