As a physician I have the privilege to meet and care for a number of individuals from a variety of backgrounds. My training in general surgery, surgical critical care and trauma/acute care surgery has provided me the opportunity to treat a number of disease processes.
I believe that treatment decisions should be shared between the physician and the patient. Patients should have the information necessary to participate actively in their treatment plan. Patients and their families should be well informed before undergoing any procedure or operative intervention. I pride myself on my communication with patients and their families.
