Dr. J. Benjamin Gatewood, MD, FACP received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Following this he completed his internship and residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He completed his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Gatewood is board certified by ABIM and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2020 and practicing medicine since 2011. Dr. Gatewood's expertise is in gastrointestinal malignancies.
