Lacey Tankersley received her both her undergraduate degree (BS) nursing degree (BSN) from Lousisana State University. After this, she obtained her RN license and worked as a pediatric nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for over 10 years and then as an Executive Health Nurse Coordinator. She completed her Masters of Nursing in Family Practice Medicine at the University of South Alabama. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with expertise in both pediatrics and adult population, and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2002. She transitioned to Ochsner's Urgent Care and Occupational Health department in early 2018. Lacey is commited to providing holistic care to all patients, with focus on patient education and advocacy.
