Overview

  • Dr. Danny Bronfin earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He competed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Tulane, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Bronfin is the medical director of the Ochsner craniofacial team. Dr. Bronfin was a member of the National Executive Board of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Committee on Early Childhood, Adoption, and Dependent Care. He is clinical professor of pediatrics at Tulane Medical School and has been awarded ten Owl Club Teaching Awards from Tulane medical students. He was also the recipient of the Tulane Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society Clinical Faculty Teaching Award. Dr. Bronfin also serves as associate professor at the University of Queensland / Ochsner Health School of Medicine. Dr. Bronfin has been on staff at Ochsner since 1987. His clinical interests include preventive pediatrics, child advocacy, behavioral pediatrics, cleft lip/palate and craniofacial anomalies.
