Kelly "Ked" Dixon, LCSW-BACS earned her Masters of Social Work degree from the Tulane University School of Social Work in 2010. From 2005-2019 she worked in the field of HIV/ AIDS developing interventions specific to trans and gender non-conforming youth and their families.Ked currently works as an Advanced Practice Provider at Ochsner Medical Center, where she sees children, adolescents and their families. Ked is a Registered Play Therapist and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She specializes in trauma, play therapy and issues related to gender dysphoria. In addition to her clinical duties, Ked is an adjunct professor at the Tulane School of Social Work, where she teaches Human Behavior and the Social Environment. She is also a member of EMDRIA, NASW and The Association for Play Therapy.
