Dr. John-Paul Sara received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey and medical degree from St. Georges University in Grenada. Afterwards, he completed his general surgery internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, and anesthesiology residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. He completed his fellowship in critical care medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sara has been on staff at Ochsner since 2019 and practicing medicine since 2013. His expertise is in anesthesiology and critical care medicine.
