Dr. Alleyn received her medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. She then completed a Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Alleyn was also a research fellow at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston. In addition, Dr. Alleyn is a member of the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes, Pediatric Endocrine Society and Endocrine Society. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.
