Dr. Ishna Poojary received her medical degree from the American University of Caribbean School of Medicine. She began her training in internal medicine with her internship at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and residency at University of Arizona in Tucson. She completed her fellowship in pulmonary & critical care medicine at the University of Arizona and an additional sub-specialty fellowship in lung transplantation at St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center at Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Poojary is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care medicine. She has been on staff at Ochsner since March 2020.
