Dr. Angela Mitchell received her undergraduate degree from University of San Diego and her Masters in Tropical Medicine and Parasitology from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She complete medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her internship and residency at LSU in Rural Family Medicine. Dr. Mitchell is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Her academic areas of interest include primary care, rural emergency medicine, international medicine, and tropical medicine.
