Dr. Michaelson earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Kern Medical Center/ University of California in Bakersfield, CA. Dr. Michaelson practices in the ED at Ochsner Baptist.
