Debra Welton, FNP-BC is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has been on staff at Ochsner since May 2020 and practicing as a nurse practitioner working in women's health for 10 years. She performs IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals and birth control option counseling, evaluates irregular bleeding and provides abnormal pap follow-up plans of care. She has a special interest in treating dysfunctional uterine bleeding. In her spare time she loves to read mystery novels and spend time with her family.
