Overview

  • Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center. Following graduation, she went to Baylor College of Medicine for her pediatrics residency. Dr. Thomas stayed at Baylor for her pediatric cardiology and pediatric electrophysiology fellowships. Dr. Thomas specializes in pediatric cardiology and her areas of special interest include electrophysiology for both pediatric and adult congenital heart disease patients. She has been on staff at Ochsner since 2010 and practices at the Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Thomas is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatric Cardiology. She is certified by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners as a pediatric electrophysiology specialist and is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society. She serves as medical director for Project ADAM Louisiana, an advocacy organization promoting bystander CPR and AED training for schools.
