Overview

  • Dr. Roberts received a doctor of medicine degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed an internal medicine internship at Tulane University followed by a radiology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Roberts completed additional training as a fellow in breast and body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Roberts is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is an active member of the Society of Breast Imaging, and also holds a position on the Breast Sonography Exam Committee for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. He is currently involved in research regarding the use of advanced microscopy for rapid evaluation of breast biopsies. Dr. Roberts is the section head for breast imaging at Ochsner, and his emphasis is the early detection of breast cancer and compassionate patient care.
