Pediatrics highlights the resilience of children and is an overwhelmingly rewarding field of medicine. I truly enjoy spending time with my patient's parents to educate them and empower them to fully understand their child's medical needs.
Pediatrics is special because it allows the pediatrician to include the child and their family in medical decisions, medical education, and medical success. Pediatric hospitalist medicine and newborn care allow the pediatrician to work as a team with the family, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, child life specialists and all involved with the common goal of patient safety and health.
