Overview

  • Dr. Long Dang is a practicing hematologist & oncologist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a staff physician at Ochsner. Dr. Dang graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1994, and completed residency training at the University of Pennsylvania. He next completed fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Dang has been in clinical practice for 16 years. His practice includes caring for patients with breast cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancer, genitourinary cancers, gastrointestinal tract cancers, and general hematology. Dr. Dang is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He has been a National Institute of Health-funded investigator, a principal investigator or co-investigator on more than 20 clinical trials for cancer treatments, and has published more than 60 peer-reviewed publications.
