Overview

  • Dr. Gotto received her undergraduate degree from Davidson College, and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1991. Following this, she completed her residency in general adult psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine, and her fellowship and psychosomatic medicine at St. Luke's hospital at BCM. Before coming to work at Ochsner in 2020, she worked at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Norris Cancer Center of University of Southern California, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the City of Hope Cancer Center, the Boise Veterans' Hospital and the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she taught second year medical students.Dr. Gotto has expertise in the area of brain, behavior, emotions and medical illnesses, including cancer, diabetes and other chronic medical conditions. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family, her dogs, cooking, reading, music and Lagree fitness.
