Dr. Amy Vaughan earned a master's degree in pharmacology and a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2005 from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She then completed an obstetrics & gynecology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine. She is board-certified in general obstetrics & gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. After years in a busy private practice, Dr. Vaughan transitioned to providing primarily in-patient obstetrics care as an OB/GYN hospitalist. She is interested in providing individualized care to both mother and baby during childbirth. As part of our OB hospitalist team, Dr. Vaughan specializes in obstetric emergencies and works closely with our OB/GYN team to provide expert labor and delivery care.
