Dr. Nikhil Sharma attended the Medical University of the Americas in Charlestown, West Indies where he graduated with honors and was class president. He then completed an internal medicine residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans between 2009 and 2012. In 2013, Dr. Sharma served as the chief medical resident. Dr. Sharma serves as a hospitalist at Ochsner Medical Center, primarily working in the observation unit.
