Dr. Richard earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana and completed her residency program in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital in Oakland, California. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as a member of the Board of Directors for the Parenting Center in Covington.She has served as chairperson of the Department at Lakeview Hospital, and gave the commencement address at LSU for the College of Science. She has actively practiced pediatrics in Saint Tammany Parish for more than 20 years.
