Deena Provance is a licensed clinical social worker. She received her Master's degree from Tulane University. Following this, she worked as a therapist at inpatient treatment programs assisting clients with dual diagnosis disorders. Deena Provance specializes in codependency, trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, and self-compassion. She is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR was developed to treat trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other issues. EMDR allows our innate healing process to take place. Deena believes the relationship between therapist and client must feel safe, non-judgmental, and empowering. She practices multiple therapeutic modalities so that she can individualize therapy for each client. Sharing your story and experiences fosters courage, hope, and self-acceptance. She is grateful to be able to assist in this process of healing and discovery.
