Dr. Jones writes:
I am honored to be acknowledged as Ochsner's Physician of the Year. It is truly a privilege to do what I do. I have had the best patients over these 17 years. I am supported by the most awesome team/family at our Driftwood clinic and couldn't do what I do without them. I remain passionate about being a combined Med-Peds physician and am very committed to the excellence of healthcare and patient advocacy.
Fortuitously, 30 years ago this month, I received the Alton Ochsner future physician award at my high school graduation. Since then I have been unbelievably lucky to have been able to interact with so many different patients, colleagues, team members and friends that have helped me become the person that I am today.
Special Thanks to my husband, Mitch, for being my everything and love of my life... my kids, Gabby and Jacob, for being the blessings of my life... and my parents, Kay and Gary, for making me the woman that I am. Thanks again to Ochsner and our leadership team. I am very honored.
