Kim received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She then earned a Master of Science - Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
Throughout her career, Kim has obtained over seven years of experience as a nurse practitioner while serving as lead NP for two of those years. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurses Association, Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society for Nurses.
