Overview

  • Dr. Eustis graduated summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internship at Ochsner and his ophthalmology residency at LSU Eye Center, followed by fellowships in pediatric ophthalmology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and the Children's Hospital at the National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He also studied strabismus at the Wilmer Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Eustis is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1986. A well-known pediatric ophthalmologist, he has over 35 scientific publications and over 70 presentations to his credit. Dr. Eustis holds Clinical Associate Professorships in ophthalmology at LSU medical school.
