Dr. Buford received his undergraduate degree from University of California at Los Angeles and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Following this he completed his internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital and residency at University of California at San Diego. He completed his fellowship in Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Buford is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in both Emergency Medicine and Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2018 and practicing medicine since 2010. Dr. Buford's expertise is in Emergency Medicine, Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine, Wound Care and Dive Medicine.
