Dr. Carmen Bruno completed her undergraduate training at Southern University at New Orleans. She then furthered her studies and received a Master of Public Health degree from Louisiana State University. She then went on to receive a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Following the completion of her medical degree, she returned to her hometown of New Orleans to complete residency training at Ochsner Medical Center. During residency she received the Ochsner Resident Performance Improvement/Quality Initiative Award for her work in identifying factors affecting hospital readmission. Dr. Bruno's clinical interests include diabetic limb salvage, wound care and forefoot surgery. Dr. Bruno is a member of the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
