Overview

  • Dr. Ewane received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (The Medical College of Virginia) in Richmond, VA in 2009. He went on to complete his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, TX. As part of his residency training, Dr. Ewane served as a chief resident in the urology department at MD Anderson Cancer Center in addition to other hospital systems at the prestigious world renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston. Dr. Ewane is board certified by American Board of Urology and has been on staff at Ochsner since February 2019 and practicing medicine since 2009. Dr. Ewane performs robotic-assisted laparoscopic minimally invasive procedures for the management of urological conditions. He has a special clinical interest in urological oncology, male health, female urology, stone disease and reconstructive urology. Dr. Ewane enjoys the outdoors, movies, reading and spending time with his family in his free time.
