Amanda has received a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Ochsner's Cardiovascular Surgical Team, she obtained several years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. Amanda is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is board-certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center as an Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is also certified in Cardiac Surgery, and is a BLS and ACLS provider.
