Kelly received a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy in 1992 from LSU and practiced as an occupational therapist for 20 years before returning to school to further her education. Kelly earned a Master of Medical Science degree in physician assistant studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in 2014. Prior to joining Ochsner, Kelly completed several clinical rotations in specialties including neurosurgery, ER, ENT, hospital medicine, family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and geriatrics. She is currently the neuroscience system lead advanced practice provider and specializes in caring for those living with multiple sclerosis. Kelly is a member of the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
