Gloria Peters is a family nurse practitioner who has worked with Ochsner Health since 2013.She is a doctorate prepared nurse practitioner, earning a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree (DNP) from Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU) in 2020 and a Masters of Science in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) emphasis from SELU in 2012. Gloria is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has over 20 years of skilled professional nursing background inpatient including ICU, telemetry, as well as various outpatient services including home health, hospice, and long-term care. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was inducted into the highly respected nursing organization Sigma Theta Tau in 2011. Dr. Peters, FNP specializes in hospital medicine and currently practices at Ochsner Medical Center - West Bank Campus. Her sub-specialty is outpatient palliative medicine and hospice care.
