Dr. Lisa Diethelm earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham where she also completed her internship and residency in diagnostic radiology. She has completed fellowships in cardiac imaging at the University of California at San Francisco, cardiopulmonary Imaging at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and body imaging at the University Center of San Francisco-San Francisco General Hospital.
Dr. Diethelm has been a member of the faculty in the departments of radiology at UCSF and LSU-New Orleans before joining the Ochsner staff in 2006. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology, specializing in thoracic imaging, and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
