Overview
Overview
- A Louisiana native, Dr. Smith received his medical degree from Louisiana State University - Health Science Center in New Orleans after earning a Bachelor of Science from LSU in Baton Rouge. He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at University of Texas - Southwestern and Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He completed a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular surgery at UT-Southwestern and is board certified by the American College of Surgeons. His interests include surgical and endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms, peripheral and cerebrovascular disease, endovascular treatment of deep vein thrombosis and treatment of infected aortic and peripheral grafts.
